Freshwater East Beach
A wide bay of golden sand backed by dunes with a stream running through the beach at its southern end.
(Like all streams, it can contain waste, so don't let children play in it)
At low tide, the sea reveals plenty of sand for all those ball games without bothering the neighbours and the low cliffs at the eastern end provide some nice private ‘bays’.
Green Coast Award 2019 and Seaside Award 2019

Behind the beach is Freshwater Bay Caravan Park with an outdoor activity centre and The Longhouse cafe & restaurant.
A nice beach. The nearest to Pembroke. It is a favourite for locals.
There is a small stream that runs onto the beach and like all streams, it can contain some waste, so don't let young children play in it.
No large waves and generally a very safe Beach.
In the long hot summers when I was a young teenager, we loved it..
